Q: Do you offer design-for-3D-printing (DFAM) services?

Yes, we offer Design-for-3D-Printing (DFAM) services including design analysis and optimization, geometry modification for printability, material selection guidance, structural reinforcement and lightweighting, and assembly and part consolidation.

Q: Can I request custom materials or colors?

Yes, including specialty filaments such as carbon fiber and metal-infused materials, and custom painting for SLA. Standard colors are black, white, red and blue, with custom colors available on request. Custom materials or colors may affect production time and cost.

Q: What is the tolerance for 3D printing?

FFF has a lower tolerance compared to precision technologies, SLA offers higher tolerance with an excellent surface finish, and SLS offers higher tolerance suitable for functional engineering parts. Tolerance also depends on geometry, size, orientation and post-processing.

Standard lead time is 3-7 business days, express is 1-3 business days for an additional fee, and rush orders can be completed in under 24 hours on a custom quote basis. Technology-specific lead times are approximately FFF 2-5 days, SLA 3-7 days, and SLS 5-10 days.

Q: How do you ensure intellectual property protection?

We offer a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on request, you retain full ownership of your designs and IP, and we do not reverse-engineer or replicate customer designs.

Q: What is your minimum order quantity?

FFF and SLA have a minimum order quantity of 1 unit. SLS has a minimum of 5 units or 20cc for powder efficiency.
