What file formats do you accept for 3D printing?
We accept the following file formats:
< STL (Stereolithography)
OBJ (Object File Format)
AMF (Additive Manufacturing File Format)
3MF (3D Manufacturing Format)
STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data)
< Additional Guidelines:
Ensure files are exported with precise dimensions and scale.
For complex models, consider exporting in STL or OBJ format.
What if the above file format is not available with me?
Don’t worry! If your file isn’t in one of our accepted formats, we offer the following options:
< File Conversion Services:
We can convert your file from various CAD formats, such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
Additional fees may apply, depending on complexity.
< Supported CAD Formats for Conversion:
SolidWorks (.sldprt, .sldasm)
CATIA (.catpart, .catproduct)
Other formats (contact us for confirmation)
< Alternative Options:
Provide a 2D drawing or sketch with dimensions for our design team to recreate the model.
< Engage our design services to create a custom 3D model. Please read the next question to understand the 3D modeling or design services.
Do you offer design-for-3D-printing (DFAM) services?
Yes, we offer Design-for-3D-Printing (DFAM) services to optimize your designs for additive manufacturing.
< DFAM Services:
