Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a powder-based 3D Printing technology that uses a high-powered laser to fuse small particles of polymer powder layer by layer, creating a solid object.
SLS is known for producing strong, durable, and complex parts without the need for support structures.
This technology is widely used in Industrial and Engineering applications due to its ability to create functional and high-performance parts.
The most common material for Selective Laser Sintering is Nylon, a highly capable engineering thermoplastic for both functional prototyping and end-use production. Nylon is ideal for complex assemblies and durable parts with high environmental stability.
Printed with PA 11 and PA 12 material. Connect with us for more details
Common materials include Nylon (PA12, PA11)
No, the surrounding unsintered powder acts as a natural support for the part.
Yes, post-processing involves cleaning off excess powder, smoothing surfaces, and optionally dyeing or coating for enhanced aesthetics and functionality.
SLS prints are highly durable and have mechanical properties similar to injection-molded parts.
Industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Healthcare, and Consumer goods benefit the most due to SLS’s ability to produce strong, complex, and lightweight parts.
The output will be in White color. We can do painting or dyeing to get the desired color. Generally in painting the finish will not be that much perfect. Dyeing is the best option to get different colors, but this will take additional 1 week of time.
